95% of your life is running without you. Here’s what to do about it.

You might be at a point where you feel like you are doing everything right.

Everything that is expected. Functioning. Showing up.

And still — inside — you don’t feel fulfilled. You sense that there is potential for deeper connections. Room to act instead of react. A higher level of confidence that is yours — not performed.

Did you ever ask yourself: based on whose standards are you actually functioning?

The beliefs you have about yourself — how were they set? The triggers, the reactions, the patterns — how did they form? How much did you participate in any of it?

Here is a statistic that changes things. 95% of our lives is lived from the subconscious mind. That’s where all of the above is running the show. Silently. Without your input. So if you feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start — that’s not weakness. That’s just a man who hasn’t been shown where to look yet.

Try this now.

Think of one pattern, trigger, reaction or dominant thought that keeps showing up in your life.

What is the emotion that comes with it? Anger. Anxiety. Fear. Shame. Sadness. Hopelessness. Whatever it is — name it.

Now go one level deeper.

Because underneath the trigger, the pattern, the thought — underneath the emotion — is a deep-rooted belief.

You already know what it is. Maybe not consciously. But it’s been running your life without you having any say in it.

Let me give you an example. Made up — but based on real cases.

A man in a relationship. He loves his partner. She loves him. Everything points to the obvious next step — building a life together. And he starts to pull away. Going out more. Drinking more than he’d like to. Becoming distant.

He’s aware of it. He can see himself doing it. And he can’t stop. He is actively sabotaging something he actually wants.

You probably know why. We all do this — with success, with friendships, with health, with the things that matter most.

In this man’s case: his parents never got along. He watched his mother be distant and dismissive of his father. The belief he formed — not as a decision, but as a conclusion — was that relationships are not safe. That they are volatile. That they hurt.

That belief didn’t ask his permission. It just became the operating system.

I once heard a man say — we were playing bowling — “I suck. I always start good but I always f* it up.”

He said it casually. But it was true at his job. In his relationships. In how he spoke about himself when nobody was listening closely enough to notice.

He was a grown man. Career. Family. Functional by every measure.

I don’t know if he noticed what he said. Or the pain in his voice. Or the way his body kind of collapsed from the inside — and it showed on the outside.

If you had to guess what that man believes about himself — he already told you.

I’ll tell you mine.

For years my core belief was that I am not good enough. It showed up most in relationships. It brought me connections that weren’t aligned with what I actually wanted to experience. And it was painful.

Because what we believe — we become. We recreate. We attract. We prove right over and over again.

The good news is this:

There are tools to find the root belief. To understand where it came from. To go back to the moment it was formed — not to relive it, but to update it with everything you now know.

RTT® — Rapid Transformational Therapy — works directly with the subconscious mind. That 95% that’s been running the show without your input.

One focused session. To find it. To understand it. To change it at the root.

Not manage it. Change it.

If something in this piece landed — that’s usually the belief making itself known.
